Bangkok 10 February 2025 – True Corporation underscores its role as a leading Thai tech company by advancing into space technology through a partnership with GalaxySpace, a Chinese leading company in LEO satellites Internet industry. Recently, Manat Manavutiveth (Right), Chief Executive Officer of True Corporation Plc. has signed a memorandum of understanding with Xu Ming (Left), Founder, Chairman and CEO of GalaxySpace to joint study, share and exchange knowledge, development and validation of information and telecommunications and technologies including Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites broadband communication technology, convergence solutions of space-based network and the terrestrial network, and Direct-to-Cell (D2C) satellites communication technology and innovation on hardware development, as well as business case analysis of the space industry, satellite use cases and applications in Thailand.

Under this collaboration, True Corporation and GalaxySpace agreed to joint study, share and exchange knowledge, develop and test data and technologies related to Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites communication, provide integrated network solutions for space and ground systems and Direct-to-Cell (D2C) satellites communication technology as well as innovation on hardware development. Moreover, the MOU includes the collaboration on business case analysis of the space industry, satellite use cases and applications, covering market analysis and exploration, enterprise solutions testing and validation, mobile backhaul optimization, Direct to Cell (D2C) technology validation, Satellite Earth Observation use cases, and solution research. We believe that outcomes derived from joint studies, research, and sharing of experiences and expertise between leading Thai tech company and industry leader in LEO satellite technology from China will lead to the creation of innovative LEO satellite technology services that will create significant changes and benefits for Thai people and the country in the future.”
