They are ready to embark on a journey to the gates of the Northeastern city at Taweedharma practice venue (Rai Saeng Ngam), Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima, under the guidance of Ajahn Surasak Khemarangsi (Luang Pho Surasak Khemrangsri), the abbot of Wat Mahaeyong, Ayutthaya as the Master Abbot to learn the Dharma and the concept of “Compassion: Love-Learn-Assiduous-Give”. Lessons encompassing the true essence of love, compassion, gratitude, and obedience according to the principles of Dharma teachings, aiming to cultivate virtues within the novices’ minds, to grow as morally upright individuals, ready to contribute to the creation of beauty and goodness for the people, families, and society. Presenting a fresh and easily understandable perspective, reflecting through the eyes of viewers worldwide across all True platforms, enhancing the event with highlights for enjoyment and spiritual growth, while also showcasing local wisdom and community traditions closely tied to Buddhism through the experiences of the young novices from all regions. Mr. Supachai Chearavanont, Chief Executive Officer, Charoen Pokphand Group/ Chair of the Board of Directors, True Corporation Plc said that “Entering the decade and marked the 10th year of sustainability of True Little Monk with the determination in being part of preserving and sustaining Buddhism, Charoen Pokphand Group and True Corporation forge ahead with the continuation of True Little Monk, a Dharma reality live program returning as its 10th year. This year, we travel to the Northeastern region at at Taweedharma, a dharma practice venue in Nakhon Ratchasima. This year, Ajahn Surasak Khemarangsi (Luang Pho Surasak Khemrangsri), the abbot of Wat Mahaeyong, Ayutthaya graciously continues to be the Master Abbot, leading the 12 little monks to discover, inherit Dharma wisdoms at the world heritage city and learn Dharma under the theme of “Compassion” (Universal Love), starting from “loving” one self in the right way, “learning” to practice Dharma principles, “being perseverant” in eliminating the sin and “giving” for others. This year, everyone will learn “the 10 grandeurs of 10 good commandment” or DASA – PARAMI (perfections) that Buddha has led for the 12 Little Monks throughout the month via “The ten longest birth-stories of the Buddha, the previous lives of Prince Siddhartha in each lives on how he led a moral lives in various aspects such as Maha Chanok Chadok when he practiced efforts grandeur and Maha Vesandorn Chadok when he practiced giving grandeur along with activities to deeply understand dharma in a fun way. This will allow the Little Monks to have moral and become the goodness creators for the social.”

The program is also honored to have the Most Venerable Somdet Phra Maha Thirachan, Chief Abbot of Wat Phra Chetuphon (Wat Pho), Phra Prom Bundit, Chief Abbot of Wat Prayurawongsawat Worawihan, Phra Prom Wachirasuthi, Chief Abbot of Wat Rama 9 Kanchanaphisek as the True Little Monk’s consultant, Ven. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phra Theppawarameth, Chief Abbot of Wat Mahachulalongkornrachutit, Phra Paisal Wisalo of Wat Pah Sukato, Chaiyaphum, Phra Rajwhatchradhammapanee, Chief Abbot of Wat Cholpratarn Rangsarit, Phra Medhi Vajirodom (V. Vajiramedhi), President of Wimuttayalai Foundation as well as a group of Ajahn “Dhammaaromdee” as Dharma coaches for the 12 novice monks. In organizing this project, Dr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Secretary-General of the Chai Pattana Foundation, Pol. Lt. Col. Dapong Ratanasuwan, Privy Councilor and former Minister of Education, serve as the advisors for the Secular Party. Additionally, there is a team of qualified and nationally renowned individuals participating in the program, such as “Teacher Bird” Bunpong Panit, founder of the theater for learning skills development, “Dr. Lot”, Patarapol Maneeorn, the first Thai wildlife veterinarian, “Oar” Kirati Thepthan, “Can” Atirut Kittiyan, “Akk” Akarat Nimitchai, and “Saint” Suppapong Udomkaewkanjana. They will join in studying Dharma alongside the young novices, and this year, there will be a special reunion with the past ten batches of novices (including the international Little Monks). They will share their experiences, having previously participated in the project, along with ten impressive activities. These activities include activities such as ordaining saplings, learning Dharma through sand drawing, meditation practice through clay sculpting, reflecting goodness through mirrors, moral tales from the garden in bottles, and creating artwork from recycled materials. Moreover, there will be a focus on mindfulness practice as well.
Another special aspect this year is the first-time pilgrimage to the Thaweedharma Practice Center (Rai Saeng Ngam), Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima, which has been established for over 10 years by Dhanin-Khunying Tawee Chearavanont Foundation and Plookpanya Foundation, initiated with a heart full of faith in Buddhism and gratitude towards family by Mr. Supachai Chearavanont and the family, playing a leading role in founding the Dharma center, aiming to provide a conducive environment for meditation practice. Every component of the center is meticulously crafted to foster abundance, nurturing the growth of spiritual cultivation.
In addition, the 12 selected youth aged between 7 and 12 years old, from the total of 5,800 applicants nationwide, will serve as representatives of youth from all regions, coming from Bangkok, Sukhothai, Surat Thani, Roi Et, Nakhon Ratchasima, Nonthaburi and Pathum Thani. They will act as mirrors reflecting the behaviors of children in this age group, and the Dharma they have learned will help refine them. These 12 representatives play a crucial role in disseminating these principles and teachings through a reality Dharma program. They will be live broadcasting their educational and spiritual practice stories, instilling moral values beautifully in the minds.
