True Corp Joins Hand with the Secretariat of the House of Representatives to Drive “Going Zero E-WASTE with the ASEAN Center”, Accelerating Proper and Comprehensive Management of e-Waste for a Sustainable World Together

Bangkok, January 31, 2024 – Reinforcing the mission of Thai tech company leader who is committed to conducting business sustainably…True Corporation led by Mr. Chakkrit Urairat (right), Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, True Corporation Plc is forging ahead the intention to manage the environmental impacts caused by electronic waste according to international standards. The company has recently announced its cooperation with the Secretariat of the House of Representatives under the Parliament led by Acting Pol Sub Lt Arphat Sukanan (left), Secretary General of the House of Representatives, by bringing potentials of the “e-Waste TinkTookTee DTorJai” project to drive the “Going Zero E-Waste with ASEAN Center” project, expanding e-Waste points available at the Secretariat of the House of Representatives and the Secretariate of the Senate where e-Waste will be collected for sorting and recycling e-waste process properly and 100% safely, restoring balance to the environment for a better life together.

 

Mr. Chakkrit Urairat, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, True Corporation Plc said that “True Corporation is aware of the Thai tech company’s duty to conduct business responsibly on the basis of sustainable development. One of the important environmental goals is to achieve Zero e-Waste to Landfill based on the Circular Economy direction and to reduce carbon dioxide emissions (Net Zero) by 2050.  To achieve this mission to create the utmost benefits to the society, it is necessary to join forces with all alliances. We are, therefore, very pleased to cooperate with the Secretariat of the House of Representatives under the Parliament to support the “Going Zero E-Waste with the ASEAN Center” project to expand electronic waste points, complimenting the ecosystem of comprehensive electronic waste management in the “e-Waste TinkTookTee DTorJai” project. This is to drive the SMART Parliament mission so that officials and the public can litter their unused smart phones, mobile phones, accessories and micro electronic devices more conveniently which will be managed properly according to international standards.”
