True Corporation is set to drive the quality of life for the elderly, receiving an honorable organization award for supporting the elderly sector on National Elderly Day and Family Day in the year 2024.

Bangkok April 5, 2024 – Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, led by Minister Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa presided over the National Elderly Day and Family Day event for the year 2024, presenting the award plaque to organizations supporting the elderly. Mr. Suphachai Chearavanont  Chairman of the Executive Committee of True Corporation Public Company Limited, joined in expressing congratulations to Mr. Chakkrit Urairat, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, of True Corporation Public Company Limited accepted the award on behalf of the organization.

 

 

 

Mr. Chakkrit Urairat, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, at True Corporation, stated, “True Corporation is dedicated to conducting business on a sustainable development basis, placing importance on leveraging digital technology potential to enhance the quality of life for people in society, including the elderly group. This group holds value and serves as the center of love and bonding within families. We have undertaken various projects focusing on the elderly, such as the ‘Hai (Mai) Huang Project’ (Missing, But Don’t Worry) initiative, in collaboration with The Mirror Foundation, which provides wristbands with QR codes, an innovative solution to track and safely return at-risk elderly individuals who wander or get lost back to their families. Another project is ‘Net for Living Project’ which enhances digital knowledge and skills among the elderly, such as online marketing and entrepreneurship, contributing to the sustainable growth of the silver economy. Additionally, the ‘Online Safety Project’ opens an online platform for the elderly to learn through the ‘Online Safety’ course from TruePlookpanya, aiming to educate them on cybercrime prevention without any cost. This recognition will serve as encouragement for True Corporation to continue innovating projects for the elderly continuously, contributing to the creation of a better and more livable society together.”
