Bangkok, 11 March 2025 – True Corporation has announced a leadership restructuring aimed at strengthening its executive team and driving the company’s transformation into a world-class tech company. As part of this transition, Mr. Sigve Brekke has been appointed Group CEO, overseeing the company’s overall strategic direction. Mr. Manat Manavutiveth, the current CEO, will take on the role of President/CEO – Enterprise & Data Business, leading the company’s core Digital, Online, TrueVisions, Enterprise and Data Business to accelerate True’s digital transformation in response to future global changes. Mr. Sharad Mehrotra, currently Deputy CEO, will be President/CEO – Consumer Business, leading the Mobile Business and Customer Services, responsible for the mobile business group, overseeing the company’s mobile phone customers.

In this role, he will oversee the Digital, Online, TrueVisions, Enterprise & Data Businesses, most of which are leading business sectors of the country that are expanding, transforming into digital businesses and playing a role in driving the country’s digital economy. Mr. Manat will leverage his outstanding capabilities to drive the company’s New S-Curve and unlock new growth opportunities in an ever-evolving digital landscape. Mr. Sharad Mehrotra, who is currently Deputy CEO and has worked closely with Mr. Manat over the past two years, has been appointed as President/CEO – Consumer Business managing True’s extensive mobile customer base of over 50 million users. A seasoned telecom executive, Mr. Sharad has held key leadership roles in top global telecom firms such as Ericsson and Telenor Group across multiple countries. His expertise in mobile business strategy, customer service enhancement, and digital-driven marketing innovation will further strengthen True’s ability to deliver best-in-class mobile experiences tailored to evolving customer needs. This new structure will enhance the strength of the executive team to a world-class level, fulfilling the potential of being a leader of the tech company heading towards sustainable growth.”
Mr. Sigve Brekke, Executive Chairman of Telecom and Digital Business Group at CP Group, will in addition take up the role of Group Chief Executive Officer of True Corporation.
