Grand seminar to mark the 16th anniversary of TNN Channel 16, Collaborations Gurus and unveiling their visions for “Thailand’s New Context Impact on Business, New Chapter, Next Move.” Celebrating the number one top-quality news station in Thailand.

Bangkok, September 12, 2023 – TNN Channel 16 hosted a grand seminar titled “New Context for Thailand: Impact on Business – New Chapter, Next Move” to celebrate the 16th anniversary. This event emphasized the station’s position as Thailand’s top-quality news station, delivering news that is “timely, economic, and truthful.” The event was chaired by Mr.Ongard Prapakamol (center), Head of True Vision and Media, True Corporation, and Managing Director of Thai News Network (TNN Channel 16). During this occasion, esteemed high-level executives and experts from both the public sector, educational institutions, and leading private companies shared their perspectives and experiences. Dr. Pailin Chuchottaworn (third from the right), Chairman of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), spoke on the topic “Thailand’s Business Must Move Forward” and revealed, “Today, artificial intelligence (AI) plays a significant role in our daily lives and is becoming more prevalent. We can see its use increasing in applications like chatbots and AI replacing human workers. AI is a key driver of business development because new technologies command higher prices and greater attention. I recommend that businesses embrace technology and adapt to it.” Following this, Mr. Prasit Boondoungprasert (third from the left), Vice Chairman of the Management Committee of Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CPF), unveiled a globally renowned project, “CPF Joins Forces with US Space Innovation Experts to Elevate Thai Chicken to Space Standards, Emphasizing High-quality Food Safety Equivalent to Astronauts’ Meals, Supporting Thai Exports’ Expansion.” Assistant Professor Dr. Tanyanuparb Anantana (second from the left), Deputy Director of Innovation Management, Chiang Mai University, discussed the creation of Basecamp 24 at the Northern Science Park, Chiang Mai University. Basecamp 24 aims to enhance startup business capabilities and create an ecosystem supporting limitless startup ideas, driving the growth of the startup sector and contributing significantly to the country’s economy. Meanwhile, Mr. Vatsun Thirapatarapong (second from the right), Country Manager Amazon Web Services (Thailand) Company Limited, highlighted “The current trend in business places significant importance on sustainability, environmental protection, and flexibility. Cloud computing can reduce energy consumption and mitigate global warming. Additionally, cloud technology can help organizations deal with business and economic fluctuations, leading to an increased adoption of cloud services. Amazon Web Services plans long-term investments to support Thai businesses and the Thai economy.” Mr.Damien Pfirsch (third from the right), Chief Commercial Officer at Agoda, offered his perspective, stating, “Thailand has immense potential to be a Silicon Valley of innovation and technology. It is a beautiful tourist destination with a unique selling point being its exceptional service quality, which sets it apart from other countries. Thai people are quick to embrace technology, especially after the COVID-19 crisis, which pushed many activities online.”

 

 

For the afternoon seminar session,  panel discussion with the four experts in economics and investment on the topic “Optimizing Portfolios for Profit.” We have Mr.Sorapon Wirametheekul Assistant Managing Director of Kasikorn Securities Company Limited, Mr.Ponlasit Poomiwisana CEO of DAOL REIT Management (Thailand), Mr.Keerati Satasook CEO of C.P. Land Public Company Limited and Mr. Piyaphan Wongyara Founder of Stock2Move Limited. This event took place on September 6th at the Grand Hall, True Digital Park, 3rd floor, West side, and was considered a great success. It received a positive response from a large number of registered participants, as well as from the online audience through various platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
