Explore 5 Cutting-Edge Technologies That are Energy-Efficient and Environmentally Friendly at True Digital Park.

14 December 2023

Bangkok, December 14, 2023 – Innovation and technology not only play a crucial role in driving business in the digital world but also contribute to improving the quality of life in line with the changing environment and society. Therefore, creating a sustainable green environment is another challenging task that many sectors emphasize. Amidst global warming and PM2.5 pollution in Thailand, ‘True Digital Park,’ the largest technology and startup hub in ASEAN, is located at the heart of the Bangkok CyberTech District in Thailand. It is a comprehensive digital ecosystem for startups designed and constructed to incorporate cutting-edge technology to enhance energy efficiency, reduce pollution, and be environmentally friendly. The park includes digital environmental systems for a complete startup ecosystem in one area. It has been designed and constructed with modern technology to increase energy efficiency, reduce pollution, and be environmentally friendly. With over 20,000 square meters of green and outdoor space, it creates a public area contributing to a better environment. Importantly, it helps prevent flooding in the surrounding areas. It has achieved LEED Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, marking it as the first environmentally conscious building in the Phunnawithee area and the second-largest in Thailand.”

In addition to creating a green environment by expanding green spaces, True Digital Park also has other remarkable aspects that are ready to be unveiled. We’re excited to invite you to discover five cutting-edge technologies here.

  1. Smart Building System: This refers to buildings equipped with intelligent control systems, including the ability to manage various conveniences. It includes the control of electrical systems through tablets (Smart Lighting), which helps adjust and reduce the operation of lighting systems in the building, making the use of electrical energy more cost-effective and efficient.

  1. District Cooling System: This system utilizes water as the cooling medium. Chilled water from a centralized cooling plant is distributed through main pipes to various sections of the building. This method is more energy-efficient compared to air-cooling systems and is more effective than individually water-cooled systems.

  1. Solar Cells: Generating renewable energy and promoting sustainability through the installation of solar cells on a 1,500 square meter rooftop area. This initiative produces alternative energy, contributing 285,152 kilowatt-hours per year, thus reducing the reliance on conventional electricity sources.

  1. Wastewater Treatment System: This system not only conserves water but also facilitates watering plants by recycling 100% of treated wastewater, amounting to 1,930,010.50 liters per year.

  1. Urban-Level Air Purification Tower ‘Fah Sai’: Innovative air purification technology ensures clean air and eliminates PM2.5 particles for residents and workers within the True Digital Park area and its surrounding areas. This benefits approximately 100,000 people daily, with a maximum purification rate of up to 120,000 cubic meters per hour, achieved through hybrid automatic air filtration technology.
