Gets start data analytics easily with 3 components: Cloud – Processing Technology – Data
Mr. Putti Tangtrakulwongse, Head of Customer Engineering, Google Cloud, said “in digital era, there are overwhelming data generated, becoming a big challenge for organizations in data utilization. For efficient data analysis to respond promptly to changes in consumer behavior and the market, business organizations should consider and integrate three key components including 1) Cloud – an infrastructure platform that enhances efficiency and speed in data management. It can support managing massive amounts of data and is flexible to respond to constantly changing usage needs and uncertainty without having to change and invest in additional hardware equipment. Therefore, it helps reduce concerns regarding resources and IT infrastructure costs. 2) Deploying technologies to create advantages and choosing solutions that directly address business problems. Organizations might opt to use Machine Learning (ML), AI, or Generative AI working with data analysts to build automation systems for faster and more accurate data analytics. Together with this, organizations should raise awareness about the importance of using data and democratize access to data and AI to make it conveniently accessible and usable for everyone at an appropriate level, ensuring maximum effectiveness. 3) Data – the most important and necessary component to have, ensuring both accuracy and clarity, for AI to analyze and work efficiently, yielding the most accurate and precise results. Organizations can use dataset from various sources to encompass both quantitative aspects, which involve variables related to time series for pattern looking up, and qualitative aspects, using attributes or features of the data for analysis and aiding in business decision-making.”
Utilizing data from various sources for business goal achievement
Mr. Fukiat Julnual, Solution Architect, Databricks, a data and AI company with over 12,000 organizations worldwide using their Data Intelligence Platform, shared a perspective on utilizing data to address business challenges. There are vast amounts of data generated in daily business operations, which can be used to answer many business problems and provide reliable information aiding in forecasting and decision-making rather than guessing. The process of data utilization begins with data. Organizations should identify what data they need and determine where the data sources that help address business objectives. Starting with existing data and experiencing data deficiencies, organizations then seek additional data to support business objectives. This might involve data partners such as Telco data, conducting marketing campaigns such as advertisements or membership, and deploying AI or Machine Learning technologies. Processing data from multiple sources helps generate more impactful results and increase organizations’ project activation. Next is data processing and analytics, which provide insight into information from the past, at present, or even forecasting for the future. Empowered by AI and Generative AI, organizations can manage and leverage data for maximum benefits with the most appropriate outputs. Ultimately, the output can be utilized within the organization broadly or tailored to specific working groups. However, before proceeding with data utilization, organizations should clearly define their business objectives. This enables them to assess the level of project success and decide whether to continue or alter strategies to achieve business goals.
