Bangkok, July 15, 2024 – True Corporation Plc, Thailand’s leading telecom-tech company, has deployed engineering teams to manage and monitor cell sites and WiFi installations for mobile usage, ensuring high-quality 5G and 4G signals during the public festivities at Sanam Luang from July 11 to 15.
The government, through the Ministry of Culture, is hosting a grand celebration in honor of His Majesty the King on the occasion of his auspicious six-cycle birthday celebration on July 28, 2024, at Sanam Luang from July 11 to 15, 2024.

True Corporation has set up mobile signal monitoring teams throughout the event from July 11 to 15 and is continuously monitoring usage 24/7 for optimal performance. Reports indicate that attendance peaks between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM, with the highest data usage occurring from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM (as of July 13, 2024).
The network enhancements around Sanam Luang for True and dtac customers include:
- A total of 28 cell sites around Sanam Luang to support 5G and 4G.
- An increase of 43 WiFi spots in the vicinity of Sanam Luang.
- Optimization of mobile internet signals to support traffic routes to Sanam Luang.
- Adjustment of signal parameters to accommodate special usage behaviors during the event.
- Establishment of a dedicated team at the BNIC (Business and Network Intelligence Center) with AI systems and a task force to manage the network around the clock.
