Pathum Thani October 9, 2023 – In recognition of October 7th as World Breast Cancer Day, and throughout this October, it is a month dedicated to raising awareness and educating all Thai people about self-care to reduce the mortality rate from breast cancer. Recently, the Thanyarak Foundation, under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra, with True Bangkok United Football Club, had football legends such as Tittipan Puangchan, Everton Gonçalves, and Piraphat Notschaiya wearing the “Breast Must Be Checked” campaign shirts before their match in the Thai League 2023/24 against Leo Chiangrai United on October 8th at the True Stadium. This was another powerful voice for men to express their concern for women, inviting women aged 20 and above to recognize the importance of breast cancer prevention through proper self-breast examination and regular monitoring. Breast cancer is the silent number one threat to women worldwide, with over 600,000 deaths annually. The statistics show an increasing number of young women being diagnosed with this disease, emphasizing the importance of early detection as the best prevention.
