28 December 2023

December 28, 2023 – True Move H Universal Communication Co., Ltd. (TUC) has paid the 6th installment fee for its 900 MHz spectrum, worth 4,072,848,000 baht (VAT included), with a Letter of Guarantee from financial institutions to secure the remaining spectrum fee payments from the auction and spectrum assignment to NBTC. The 6th installment was paid on December 28th, 2023.

The 900 MHz spectrum was initially allocated to dtac TriNet (DTN) following the NBTC’s Notification regarding Criteria and Procedure for Spectrum Licensing for Telecommunications Service in the Frequency Band of 890 –895/935 – 940 MHz. Subsequently, DTN and TUC merged into a single company under relevant law, with TUC remaining as the legal entity. All assets, liabilities, roles, and responsibilities of DTN were transferred to TUC. According to the law, TUC is required to adhere to the NBTC’s initial notification, which includes conditions for paying the 900 MHz spectrum license fee. This spectrum holds a 2×5 MHz license with a 15-year duration, valid until 2033.

True Corporation is committed to continuously enhancing the user experience for TrueMove H and dtac brands by expanding network coverage. This includes maximizing the efficiency of all frequencies to serve customers in urban areas, high-rise buildings, communities, and remote regions.
