Bangkok, July 26, 2024 – With reverence for the benevolence of His Majesty the King, True Corporation Plc., Thailand’s leading telecom-tech company, participates with heartfelt dedication to ensure the readiness of 5G, 4G, and WiFi network signals to support the participation of the public in the auspicious Royal Ceremony of the 6th Cycle Birthday Celebration of His Majesty the King. The ceremony is scheduled nationwide, especially around the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram, and Sanam Luang in Bangkok, the main venues for the ceremony.

This ensures the highest efficiency for voice and data usage nationwide, accommodating the large number of people participating in commemorating His Majesty the King during the Royal Ceremony of the 6th Cycle Birthday Celebration, or 72nd birthday, on July 28th, 2024.”
Operational enhancements for True Corporation’s network resilience include:
- Expanding 5G coverage around the Grand Palace area and adjacent zones.
- Installing 28 cell sites in the Sanam Luang area to support 5G and 4G.
- Installing 43 WiFi spots around the Sanam Luang area.
- Checking and adjusting mobile internet signal parameters to support traffic routes to the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram, and Sanam Luang.
- Adjusting network parameters to accommodate usage patterns and communications during the Royal Ceremony period.
- Reinforcing mobile signals with COWs (Cells on Wheels) at significant locations such as Buddhist monasteries where ceremonies are held, including the ceremony of chanting the Buddhist scriptures at Phutthamonthon, Nakhon Pathom.
Apart from preparing the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram, and Sanam Luang areas in Bangkok, True Corporation has also enhanced mobile 5G, 4G, and WiFi networks across various provinces nationwide where grand ceremonies are held, such as provincial halls, to ensure seamless mobile phone and internet usage. This facilitates the smooth transmission of gratitude and love digitally through various channels.
