Bangkok December 26th, 2023 – Due to the flood situation in many areas of the southern 2 provinces; Narathiwat and Yala which resulted in suffering of over 9,697 households, True would like to express its concern and relieve the suffering for the victims in the area by urgently looking after the telecommunication network 24 hours a day for continuous communications among families and relatives, to follow up one news and update on the situation with support for TrueMove H, dtac, TrueOnline and TrueVisions as followed;
- For post-paid customers : Suspending the signal disconnection and extend 30 days service payment from the day of the disaster until January 30th, 2024 for TrueMoveH/ dtac/TrueOnline/TrueVisions.
- For pre-paid customers : TrueMoveH and dtac customers get additional 30 days of services (SMS will be sent for confirmation).
- SMS will be sent to warn about the evacuation in affected flood area.
Moreover, a network engineering team was sent to the affected provinces to station at telephone exchanges 24 hours a day to ensure seamless uninterrupted telecommunication services during heavy rain along with Cell on Wheels (COW) where the base-stations are down and electricity outage. At the same time, a war room was established to closely follow up on the flood situation in order to provide additional support immediately.
