November 27, 2020 – dtac, as the 5G technology partner with WHA Group, Thailand’s leader in fully-integrated logistics and industrial facilities solutions, are showcasing 5G Smart Water and Smart Energy Management Solutions at the “5G WHA Smart Ecosystem” exposition for the first time in Thailand and Southeast Asia. These 5G solutions support industrial businesses in the WHA industrial estate to drive growth through efficient management of infrastructure, energy and resources.
dtac highlights the 5G Smart Water Management that enable remote and real-time monitoring of pH levels and chemical residues in wastewater. It also facilitates timely management of wastewater levels in the ponds to mitigate overflow in the industrial estate. This use case is already being tested in WHA Eastern Industrial Estate (Map Ta Phut) by dtac and WHA. On the other hand, the 5G Smart Energy Management empower a main distribution board (MDB) to real-time monitoring and control via live video streaming, contributing to increased safety and lowered costs.
