dtac and Kbank Offer Additional Packages on the K PLUS App, Aiming to Serve Trending Lifestyles

Exclusive deal for CU students: the promotions are available via CU NEX application.

December 11, 2019Tippayarat Kaewsringam, Chief Sales Officer, Total Access Communication Public Company Limited or dtac (right) and Vallop Vongjitvuittikrai, Executive Vice President, Kasikornbank Public Company Limited (left), collaborate to offer dtac users a new privilege that is the ability to add additional pre-paid packages via the K PLUS application, allowing users to access the special deals anywhere anytime.

Additionally, students from Chulalongkorn University (CU) can get access to this privilege from the CU NEX application, which is a collaboration between the university and Kasikornbank. This offer aligns with the goal to create a ‘digital lifestyle university’ for CU students. The offers include discounted prices for the iPhone XS 64 GB, iPad mini 64 GB, iPad mini 256 GB, iPad Air 10.5 64 GB, and iPad Air 10.5 256 GB, plus a 36-month installment with 0% interest when purchased at the Chamchuri Square branch of dtac hall.

This collaboration between dtac and Kasikornbank aims at offering digital experiences and special privileges to dtac users, whose lifestyles have shifted to being more digital-centric. According to the data from the Kasikorn Research Center, the number of mobile transactions and internet banking usage has increased dramatically every year. It is estimated that the use of electronic banking will reach 50% in next 10 years while the current number is around 30%. The number of active users for the K PLUS application is about 12 million users.
