January 10, 2019 – Total Access Communication PLC or dtac, and CAT Telecom Public Company Limited or CAT, today announced an agreement to settle most of the existing disputes and all potential claims relating to the concession agreement for a total amount of 9.51 billion baht.
The Disputes Settlement Agreement between dtac and CAT marks an important milestone in the long standing relationship between the two entities. This now enables a fresh start of a new infrastructure partnership. This will also significantly reduce current uncertainty relating to arbitration awards and court verdicts.
The agreement does not cover the dispute over the revenue sharing with regards to excise tax and the disputes over the revenue sharing with regards to interconnection charges.
