November 26, 2024 – True Corporation has been implementing its Network Modernization initiative to upgrade digital infrastructure and build a comprehensive digital ecosystem. The initiative focuses on enhancing network efficiency by integrating True and dtac’s infrastructure with AI-driven smart networks under the “3Zero” framework: Zero Touch, Zero Wait, and Zero Trouble. This ongoing effort aims to improve customer experience while fostering sustainable community development.

 

 

Mr. Prathet Tankuranun, Chief Technology Officer of True Corporation Plc, revealed that “The progress of the Network Modernization project has seen over 10,800 towers upgraded, representing 64% of the total plan, with the project expected to be completed by 2025. This development has significantly enhanced our network performance, with 5G speeds increasing by 48%, 4G speeds increasing by 13%, and bandwidth capacity expanding by 35% in upgraded areas (data as of Q3/2024) to accommodate 12.4 million 5G users, a 5.4% increase from the previous quarter.

Mr. Prathet added, “We have accelerated the enhancement of network performance by upgrading to new signal transmission equipment that supports multi-frequency distribution, focusing on expanding the 700 MHz and 2600 MHz bands. Additionally, we have improved efficiency by enhancing the 700 MHz and 2100 MHz bands. This enables True and dtac customers to benefit from wider network coverage and faster speeds, delivering a No.1 World-Class Customer Experience. Moreover, we are accelerating the development of AI-driven intelligent networks under the 3Zero strategy to achieve maximum efficiency.”

 

 

True Corporation is elevating its network to an AI-driven intelligent infrastructure under the “3Zero” strategy, targeting a three-year transformation:

  • Zero Touch: Advanced automation networks powered by AI and Machine Learning enable closed-loop automation systems. These systems automatically detect, analyze, resolve, and confirm issues, enhancing network management efficiency by 80%, reducing energy consumption by 30%, and minimizing operational errors by up to 80%.
  • Zero Wait: AI systems optimize network performance in real-time, seamlessly adapting to user behavior. This ensures peak experiences in any situation, such as high-density events like concerts. The initiative aims for a 50% increase in network adjustment speed and a 3–4 times faster resolution of customer issues.
  • Zero Trouble: Real-time AI analysis of network data predicts and prevents issues, supported by proactive maintenance planning. Goals include a 40% reduction in network downtime, a 40% decrease in customer complaints, and a 30% improvement in customer satisfaction (NPS) within three years.
